Confident, creative, imaginative, warm and shy are just a few words to describe ‘Little Girl Lolly’. A dreamer who couldn’t be tamed. Whilst we grow, we often forget our inner child. I do not believe our younger selves die. We are still here, deep within.
I’ve learnt to visit her and tell her that if she could see Lolly now as an adult, she would be proud. Those dreams and qualities as a child were perfectly necessary and should never be adjusted to fit into society’s standards.
